SUITABLE FOR CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGERS

Ellis Mason have partnered exclusively with a small but long established business based in Royston to help them find an ACCOUNT MANAGER

This role would suit someone that is experienced in managing key customer relationships and the full order cycle. 

The ACCOUNT MANAGER will work as a duo with another representative. Whilst this role will focus on the relationship and day to day order management, the other representative will focus on the heavier admin aspect of reporting and stock management, stock ordering, etc. 

To be considered for the role of ACCOUNT MANAGER you may be in a similar role to these at present: Account Manager, Customer Account Manager, Customer Service Manager/Supervisor/Senior, Sales Order Manager or similar


THE SALARY & BENEFITS

  • Generous salary of up to £40,000 
  • Small annual bonus given by company
  • Monday to Friday office hours of 9am-5pm with 30 mins lunch on a permanent, full time basis
  • 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays (5 days must be kept for the Christmas break) + 8 bank holiday days
  • 5 x personal half days per year to be used for personal appointments such as Doctors, Hairdressers, Dentist, etc

THE JOB

The main duties included within the role of the ACCOUNT MANAGER, are: 

  • Overall responsibility for handling customer account matters
  • Liaising internally with the Sales Manager and Director regarding product details
  • Working with customers to discuss product details and designs, assisting them in their final decision
  • Working closely with the order management team to ensure sales orders, quotations, delivery lead times, etc are effectively executed
  • Confirming prices and delivery schedules with customers
  • Offering an after-sales service following every order and maintaining a strong working relationship
  • Keeping your customer accounts up to date on all movement or delays concerning their order
  • Working with colleagues to obtain sample sign off and packaging where necessary
  • Working with the Shipping Manager to ensure that orders are despatched when they are due, in line with customers expectations
  • Informing customers of any possible issues or delays
  • Creating and updating reports on all key customer order status'
  • Developing professional, trusting and long lasting relationships with each of your key accounts
  • Responding efficiently to requests for information
  • Learning the customers brand portfolios and the products that they are supplied
