THIS IS INITIALLY A 16 MONTH CONTRACT TO COVER A MATERNITY LEAVE - ASAP START

Ellis Mason have the pleasure of recruiting an ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR for a highly credible business based in Stevenage. The role will be hybrid with the ability to work at home for part of the week and also do a couple of days in the office (Monday and Tuesday with some flexible). 

As the ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR you will work in a team that is responsible for the effective planning and management of an internal team.  You will need to be competent on IT systems and you will need to be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle. 

THE SALARY & BENEFITS

  • 16 month contract initially on a full time basis.
  • Up to £26,000 per annum, dependent on experience
  • Annual bonus
  • 20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays - increases to 25 days with service
  • Government pension scheme. 
  • 9am-5pm Monday to Friday
  • Hybrid working, 2 days in the office and 3 from home


THE JOB

The main duties included within the role of the ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR, are: 

  • Creating and adapting staff schedules
  • Managing a department diary and being responsible for ensuring that the correct entries are entered and altered when necessary
  • Writing memos to staff, ensuring that all required tasks are accurately displayed
  • Assisting the Dept manager with the general management of the employees
  • Updating employee documents with any changes
  • Communicating with the business owners and creating future staff memos to reflect the owners movements
  • Every time a movement changes, ensuring that all staff rota's, memo's and diary movement, also reflect these changes
  • Responsibility for adding contractor visits, etc to the department diary
  • Arranging cover for absent staff
  • Carrying out weekly catch up meetings with the dept staff, reporting any issues to the manager
  • Assisting with the sign off of annual leave
  • Assisting with the completion of probation meetings
  • Attending local office visits on a fortnightly basis (Stevenage area)
  • Signing off timesheets
  • Carrying out item/stock inventories
  • Assisting with information for reports
  • Booking appointments for owner
  • Attend weekly meetings (via Teams if at home that day)
