Ellis Mason are recruiting for a ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER to join a highly reputable block management company based in Hertfordshire. The business is a well-established and has an extensive portfolio of developments across Hertfordshire, Essex and London.

This is a trainee role where full training and support will be provided with a view for you to become qualified within two years.

THE SALARY & BENEFITS

  • Permanent, full time role
  • Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
  • Staring salary circa £23,000 to £25,000
  • 25 days holiday
  • Pension scheme

THE JOB

  • Responding all incoming calls and e-mails within 24 hours of the initial contact
  • Build and develop strong working relationships with any site and contracting staff
  • Handling all of the day to day maintenance issues that occur, responding to the customer in a timely fashion
  • Booking in and coordinating the contractors to attend site visits and fix maintenance issues
  • Maintain constant communication with the residents to ensure that they feel updated at all times
  • Keep a log of all actions that take place regarding any maintenance issue for future reference
  • Handling each issue all the way through to completion of task, escalating to the Property Manager when needing to
  • Assist with the production of resident communications and leaflets
  • Visiting developments, carrying out inspections and meeting with contractors.
  • Offering technical product advice, pricing details and fitting advice.
