Ellis Mason have the pleasure of recruiting an BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE for a highly credible and well established business based in Hatfield. You will be responsible for sourcing leads, cold calling businesses and attending sales meetings (could be small one man bands or larger companies).

The company are willing to consider people that have done sales in different areas i.e. retail, recruitment, call centre, etc.

The role is far more about relationship building and repeat business opportunities and less about setting high call targets (they do not do this at all).

THE SALARY & BENEFITS

Permanent, full time basis.
20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays - plus the opportunity to buy up to 5 days extra per annum.
Salary up to £25,000 plus commission of up to £550 monthly and an uncapped annual commission.

8.30am-5pm working hours - Monday to Friday

THE JOB

The main duties included within the role of the BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE, are:

Generating business leads
Cold-calling leads to nurture and turn into an order
Attending customer sales visits
Following up with customers following an order to ensure satisfaction
Once you have won the clients you then account manage your own dedicated group of companies, keeping in contact regularly to encourage orders
Entering up to date customer records on to the in house system
Identifying opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling
Organising product sample to be sent to customers and following up to try and get an order
Attending any industry relevant exhibitions or events
