Ellis Mason are working with a dynamic, fast-growing technology company based in Hertfordshire in their search of a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE.

Trusted by companies high-end brands, charities and education facilities, your role as the BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE will primarily be focused on new business sales to corporate businesses.

  • Permanent, full-time role
  • Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm
  • Hybrid working available after initial on-boarding
  • Starting salary up to £25,0000 per annum plus commission
  • Commission of up to 50% of salary (following induction period)
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (+bank holidays)
  • Workplace pension
  • Laptop provided after induction period
  • Share ownership following 12 months service


The main duties included within the role of BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE, are: 

  • Cultivating leads and new business opportunities within new business clients
  • Researching potential contacts/leads
  • E-mailing or calling new contacts in order to make an introduction
  • Using LinkedIn and other channels to generate new leads
  • Nurturing leads with a mission to convert them to new business wins
  • Reporting on lead development, conversion rates and sales success against business plans
  • Travel and attend meetings, events and conferences to represent the company
  • Work to agreed targets and KPI's in order to achieve your sales target
