Ellis Mason have partnered exclusively with a well established business based in Royston to help them find a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

The role is for an experienced business development professional who can take the lead on inbound client calls and turn that call into a long standing customer relationships as well as a smaller element of developing colder leads. 

The BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE is a brand new role within the business and is being recruited due to business growth. 

To be considered for the role of BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE you may be in a similar role to these at present: Account Manager, Sales Representative, New Business Sales, Sales Executive, Business Development Manager, etc

Experience within the Hospitality, Bar or Alcohol industries would be of benefit, however not essential. 


THE SALARY & BENEFITS

  • Generous salary of circa £45,000 dependent on experience
  • Monday to Friday office hours of 9am-5pm with 30 mins lunch on a permanent, full time basis
  • 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays (5 days must be kept for the Christmas break) + 8 bank holiday days
  • Pension scheme - 5% contributed by employer when you contribute 3%
  • Free on-site parking
  • Gym membership to on-site gym


THE JOB

The main duties included within the role of the BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE, are: 

  • Managing sales within high-end clients
  • Research and training to become familiar with all brands, customers and potential clients over time
  • First point of contact for inbound new customer enquiries
  • Potential requirement for UK and international travel to attend shows and visit clients
  • Monitor all new business wins, putting a contact plan in place to ensure an effective service
  • Remain contact with existing business clients
  • Research and target new potential clients
  • Contact/cold call potential clients based on your research
  • Book in new appointments for the BDMs to attend
  • Monitor the market and listen to business news that may be relevant to the industry and any potential new business wins
  • Work with the team to introduce new policies or procedure that may enhance current strategies
  • Support senior members of the business with adhoc project work as and when required
