ARE YOU EXPERIENCED SALES SUPPORT OR BUSINESS SUPPORT ADMINISTRATOR?

Ellis Mason are recruiting for a BUSINESS SUPPORT COORDINATOR to join a successful UK subsidiary of an international firm.

You will need to be competent on systems, including Excel for report generation. You will also need to be a strong multi-tasker who is both bright and holds common sense, and most importantly you must be articulate in your writing style. Ideally you will have previous experience of writing tender paperwork or something similar that requires an eloquent writing style.

This is a brand-new role within the company; however, the responsibilities are already being undertaken by other members of the team. The company are busy and expanding and certain aspects of their roles are being removed in order to free up their time, and it is these responsibilities that are now going to fall under this new role.

THE SALARY & BENEFITS

  • Permanent, full time role
  • Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm
  • Up to £30,000 per annum
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (3 to be used at Christmas shutdown), after 5 years of service you can accrue 1 extra day a year, up to the maximum of 30 days.
  • Statutory pension
  • Initially the role will need to be fully office based for training, however the company are open to discussions of ‘hybrid’ working (i.e., a split between home and office) if all involved feel that it would work for the business moving forward.


THE JOB

The main duties included within the role of BUSINESS SUPPORT COORDINATOR, are: 

  • Administration tasks to support the sales team, such as product information management.
  • Full process management of tender generation and completion of tender related documents (training will be given, however your personal writing style is important in this).
  • Taking control of related paperwork when working towards company accreditations, such as ISO.
  • Working with international counterparts to execute the annual pricing policies. This will include tasks such as system updates, data transfers and mores.
  • Managing all aspects of customer marketing, including tracking and reporting. Working in conjunction with the sales and finances departments in relation to this.
  • Coordinating monthly, quarterly and ad hoc sales reports for the management team.
  • Working closely with both local and international business units to develop and launch business development initiatives.
  • Monitor and track market trends and competitor initiatives.
  • Assisting the Managing Director with management of and adherence to policies and legislation such as: GDPR, H&S, Environmental, etc.
  • Co-ordinate building and facilities management.
  • Other ad hoc business support related tasks.
