Ellis Mason are recruiting for a CREDIT CONTROLLER to join a well established IT services provider based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire.

The purpose of the role is to provide wider support to the credit control team with a focus on aged debt recovery. To be eligible for this role, we're particularly keen to speak with candidates with at least two years experience in a credit control function, experience in using Sage50 and with an enthusiastic, positive and highly motivated attitude. The client is willing to look at both permanent and temporary employment.

  • Produce and issue copy billing documents to clients
  • Processing of direct debits
  • Managing incoming calls to credit department
  • Small balance write offs daily
  • Ledger housekeeping
  • Suspense account management
  • Unallocated cash review and management- liaising with the credit team where necessary
  • Sourcing remittance advice notes where needed
  • Supporting in data cleanse when necessary
  • Monthly statement production and distribution
  • Support in managing the email inbox for credit team
  • Supporting the credit team in collection of some trade debtor accounts
  • Logging of client queries and updating of notes in the system
