Ellis Mason are recruiting for an E-COMMERCE ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE to join a global manufacturing company based in St Albans.

If successful, you will be joining a highly successful company which manufacture and sell high-end products. The company have a team of 12 Field Sales Executives and 1 Key Account Manager and this role is a brand new role that will be supporting the Key Account Manager. Over time this role will evolve naturally in Sales but for now it would suit a relatively junior in experience person. Although previous work experience is not the deciding factor, experience in either Marketing, Customer Service, Account Management or Sales, will be an advantage. 

The company are very forward thinking with their systems and processes and therefore you will need to be strong digitally to be be considered. 

The E-COMMERCE ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE role would suit a graduate with a little work experience in a customer sales driven environment. 


  • Permanent, full time role
  • Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm
  • Salary £24,000 (+ £2k bonus as mentioned below)
  • £2,000 performance related bonus

The main duties included within the role of E-COMMERCE ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE, are: 

  • Assisting the Key Account Manager with sales support tasks
  • Working with marketing to create product images for e-commerce sites
  • Maintaining an image library of products
  • Building e-commerce product descriptions with the marketing department
  • Providing product, technical and media information to customers
  • Working with marketing to coordinate promotions
  • Over time, supporting the Key Account Manager with more sales based duties such as visiting customers and managing customer relationships
  • Collating and presenting e-commerce data to internal departments
  • Working closely with the logistics department to ensure on time deliveries, etc
  • In time, becoming more sales focused and working to targets
  • On the job training given but you must also have the drive and motivation to read sales/marketing publications, trade journals, etc

This role would suit a graduate that is keen on a future career with Sales Account Management. You will need to be strong on IT systems/digitally minded (Microsoft 365) and you will need to be comfortable conducting video meetings. Although office based, due to the location and also the requirement to visit customers in the future, the role would suit a driver.
