THIS IS AN EXCITING MID-LEVEL MARKETING POSITION FOR SOMEONE WITH AN INTEREST IN MODIFIED CARS OR THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY.

Ellis Mason have the pleasure of recruiting an MARKETING & EVENTS EXECUTIVE for the small UK Sales office of a larger international based company. The company employ 100 people as a whole with approx 7 based in the UK sales office.

The role of the MARKETING & EVENTS EXECUTIVE is a mid level role with room for growth for someone with the right commercial awareness. You will be the only person working on events and marketing from the UK and will report directly into the Managing Director based in the same office. You will also work very closely with the US office who have a larger team and more senior team members within the events and marketing team.

The role would suit someone who ideally has knowledge of both events and marketing and someone who would like to work for a cool brand in what is a modern product market.

A flexible attitude to working days and travel is required as you may need to travel a handful of times a year or more and some events may be at the weekend with early starts (time in lieu given back).

THE SALARY & BENEFITS

Permanent, full time basis.
Salary £25,000 - £30,000
Performance based bonus available on an annual basis of up to 10%
Bright, modern, spacial office with on-site parking.
20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays (plus a discretionary 2 days at Xmas)
Pension - the company give 5% when you contribute 3%
AXA Health and 4 x Death in service (both on successful completion of probation)
Monday to Friday based position - 8.30am to 5pm

THE JOB

The main duties included within the role of the MARKETING & EVENTS EXECUTIVE, are:

Working with US colleagues to design, develop and deliver marketing campaigns.
Monitoring and updating the company website, ensuring that content is up to date and relevant at all times.
Consistently liaising with the sales department in order to maintain up to date industry/product knowledge.
Management of social media platforms for the European market.
Developing forecasts using results of analytics.
Creating and designing online marketing content to get the brand seen in the right places.
Creating and coordinating any print campaigns.
Creating effective presentations.
Monitoring and carrying out market research and competitor research, creating reports as necessary.
Creating event proposals inline with the marketing plan and budget available.
Maintaining relationships with event vendors and venues.
Attending the events you plan, managing and overseeing the success of them; directing event set up, welcoming guests, communicating with staff and directing vendors.
Working with US colleagues to create effective marketing and advertising materials such as print and online advertisements.
Crafting and sourcing branded goodies.
Creating sales opportunities for future events during client liaisons and events.
Being the sole contact for both events and marketing in the UK for the European market.
