Ellis Mason are recruiting for a FINANCE MANAGER to join a multi-million pound IT & Telecoms provider based in Hertfordshire.

Your role, as the FINANCE MANAGER will focus on revenue and you will be challenged with varied accounting revenue streams such as day rates, fixed price projects and longer term contract renewals. In addition you will be responsible for seven direct reports and delivering accurate financial information to the senior leadership team.

This is an exciting time to join the company as they enter a substantial period of growth having completed on multiple acquisitions and their team doubling in size.

THE JOB

The main duties included within the role of FINANCE MANAGER, are:

Ownership of full multi-entity monthly management accounts
Assistance with budgeting and forecasting process
Provide regular commercial analysis and commentary to be distributed across the business
Act as a key business partner
Oversee monthly reconciliations
Closing month end across the group
Inter-company accounting
VAT returns
Day to day banking reconciliations and analysis
Work closely with external auditors when required
Overseeing payroll process
Lead the team to prepare the financial results for the division, for 3 trading UK legal entities
Lead the team to prepare and reconcile accurate cost reporting and completeness of cost accruals and prepayments.
Financial control and governance
Prepare all necessary journal entries
Prepare inter-company reconciliations (investigating as necessary) with the rest of the group
Support, train and develop the financial operations team
