Ellis Mason are recruiting for an IT OPERATIONS MANAGER to join a multi-million pound technology company that provides SaaS solutions to global Sporting & Entertainment Events.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project delivery with a key focus on the planning and organisation of all projects. As the IT OPERATIONS MANAGER, you will be responsible for general HR duties to four teams including approving holiday requests, onboarding, inductions and annual reviews.

Have a minimum of 3 years experience in project delivery, within a technical environment
Have a minimum of 3 years experience in leading, coaching and mentoring teams
Have an understanding of O365, AD and Endpoint.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee all aspects of project delivery with a focus on keeping to deadlines, ensuring a high quality of work and UAT testing of produced software.
Performing HR duties such as approving holiday requests, recruiting, selecting, scheduling, counselling and disciplining employees. This will also include performing inductions and reviews of staff.
Deploying IT systems and configuring devices for staff to utilise.
Helping the company to promote high morale and communicate the company’s operating policies, customer issues and safety measures.
Conducting weekly ops meetings with the project teams to identify issues and promote open communication.
Manage the assignment of new work to the appropriate team.
Oversee the warehouse operations kit in and kit out process.
Maintain the equipment booking platform.
Assist the MD in writing policies and company information to be hosted on the intranet.
Become an expert on the workings of our hardware to provide onsite support to events.
Assist with the logistical requirements of the company.
Procurement of equipment and maintaining stock levels.
Endpoint control through 365.
