Ellis Mason are recruiting for a IT PROJECT SUPPORT ASSISTANT to join a well-established business in Hitchin.

As the IT PROJECT SUPPORT ASSISTANT, you will be responsible for providing support to internal departments within the business as well as providing support to existing clients.

You will be working for a small but established business who will offer extensive training and support, plus career progression.

It is not essential that you have a previous IT background but a natural interest in IT with strong academic grades are essential.

THE SALARY & BENEFITS

Permanent, full time basis.
Starting salary of £20,000 - £25,000 dependant on experience.
Naturally technically minded people without IT experience are considered.
23 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays.
Contributory pension, free onsite parking.

Christmas/summer event or party.
Monday to Friday based position 09.00am to 5.30pm.

THE JOB

As the IT PROJECT SUPPORT ASSISTANT, your role will include:

Project coordinating software implementations and ongoing Client Support.
Assisting in planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities on projects.
Supporting team members to accomplish project goals and to meet established timelines.
Working proactively with the team to meet client expectations.
Attending client status calls/ meetings and other events as appropriate.
Soliciting the timely receipt of information required from clients during implementation.
Supporting clients and the implementation team via various communications method, and by maintaining and updating online issue tracking tools.
Technical Software Support.
Participating in testing of the Company’s software products (regression testing) as new features are introduced and testing of client’s applications for implementation and ongoing support.
Uploading and managing client data.
Working on client configuration, documents, templates and basic set up as needed.
