Ellis Mason are recruiting for an IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN to join a small, IT service provider based in Letchworth Garden City,

The purpose of the role is to provide both remote and on-site 2nd and 3rd line support to small and medium sized business across Hertfordshire/North London. The ideal candidate must be flexible, motivated to learn new technologies and enjoy working in a small, personable office environment. Additionally, they will have experience providing support on Windows & Apple, Microsoft Office & SQL Server and be able to resolve problems methodically whilst delivering excellent customer service. As this is a customer facing role with some travel to customers sites, a full driving license is required.

SALARY & BENEFITS

Salary of £32,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience
22 days holiday (plus the usual bank holidays)

JOB EXPECTATIONS

Permanent, fulltime role, working 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. The company adhere to a smart/casual dress code.

As an IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN, you are:

Providing remote and on-site technical support for applications and infrastructure
Recording calls and actions
Performing remote fixes
Taking ownership of all calls logged
Using judgement to identify minor and major issues and assigning as appropriate
Ensuring consistency of service provision
Prioritising and co-ordinating the provision of support with third party suppliers
Hardware upgrades, deployment and modifications

Experience in the following Microsoft Technologies is ideal but can be trained:

Windows 10/11 / Microsoft 365 / Office 365 / Server 2022/2025 / DHCP / DNS / SharePoint OL / Exchange OL / Intune / Entra-ID / Azure / SQL Server.

Relevant MCP/MCSA/MCSE and experience with Apple OSX/IOS, Cisco CCNS would be a bonus.
