Ellis Mason are recruiting for a JUNIOR ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT to join a well established, medium sized business in Stevenage Old Town.

The role is paying a salary in the range of £20,000 to £25,000 with the added benefit of 25 days’ annual leave on a Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm working week.

The main duties include:

To be the first point of contact for all phone calls for the accounts team.
Respond within 24 hours to emails and phone calls
Service Charge Invoicing.
Arrears Chasing
Dealing with queries on Service Charge Invoices
Dealing with receipts, direct debit, card receipts, cheque banking and electronic banking receipts
Instructing Solicitors for bad payers.
Imputing of Purchase Ledger Invoices.
Keep filing of documents and emails up to date.
Maintain good relationships with other departments.
Any other duties as reasonably required.

Key requirements

IT competent with experience in using Microsoft Office applications
Apprenticeship or entry level Accounting qualification
