WE ARE ASSISTING A PHENOMENAL COMPANY IN THEIR SEARCH FOR JUNIOR ACCOUNT MANAGERS. 

Ellis Mason have partnered exclusively with a highly credible business based in Bishops Stortford to help them find a trainee for their sales account management team. The company are looking for bright, driven individuals who have the right personality and the right tenacity to take on this opportunity. They are happy to consider school leavers with little to no experience, graduates also and they are also happy to look at people with a few years work experience who fit the trainee mould that they have created. 

There are a team of 12 Account Managers already and therefore this role will initially sit beneath one or more of these Account Managers and receive full 'on the job training'. The company have an extensive 3 year training academy that they will provide, however you will be starting to do the job and be earning commission after a successful completion of the 6 month notice period. 

It is a corporate work environment where you are dealing with corporate customers and therefore you need to be prepared to dress accordingly and wear smart business wear/suits day to day.

As the TRAINEE SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER you will initially be based in the office full time, however over time you will also go out and visit your corporate customers and attend dinners, etc. When you have reached this stage you will be eligible for the benefit of a company car.

To be considered for the role of the TRAINEE SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER you do not need to meet any work experience requirements, however you do need to have the right attitude and have the drive and confidence to succeed in a sales driven environment. 

The role involves both account managing existing business, with the aim of increasing business within these accounts and bringing on new business customers. 

This is genuinely an amazing opportunity for someone who has yet to start their career, who has the natural ability to communicate well with others and has the confidence to deal with people at Director level. 

For somebody with the right drive and ambition it is not unrealistic to reach earning potential of £40,000-£50,000 within 2-3 years. 


THE SALARY & BENEFITS

  • Permanent, full time basis.

THE JOB

The main duties included within the role of the JUNIOR SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER, are: 

  • Responsible for a small portfolio of customers to generate new business within
  • Expanding your portfolio of customers by way of sales (calls, visits, e-mails, LinkedIn, etc)
  • Call new and existing customers to build new relationships
  • Researching and identify new potential customers
  • Research potential customers to assess their viability as a customer
  • Produce and provide regular MI (management information) and reports to your dedicated customer accounts
  • Attend and hold meetings with both potential and existing customers
  • Produce accurate quotations for customers
  • Promote and sell any incentives or offers that may be introduced
  • General admin that arises in your day to day such as contracts, etc
