Ellis Mason have the pleasure of recruiting a LOGISTICS COORDINATOR | SHIPPING | STORES PERSON for the small UK Sales office of a large international company.

The role of the LOGISTICS COORDINATOR | SHIPPING | STORES PERSON works within the Letchworth office and is responsible for the day to day order processing and shipping functions as well as stores management such as packing. You must be be able to pick, manual hand and pack the items (which are stored in an office environment, rather than warehouse).

The role would suit someone who is has a hard-working attitude and who is happy to work as part of a small team.

THE SALARY & BENEFITS

Permanent, full time basis.
Salary dependant on experience but somewhere Circa £23,000 and £28,000
Bright, modern, spacial office with on-site parking.
20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays.
Government standard pension
Monday to Friday based position - 37.5 hours 08.30am to 5.30pm

THE JOB

The main duties included within the role of the LOGISTICS COORDINATOR | SHIPPING | STORES PERSON, are:

Set up the stores area including processes, procedures, equipment and suppliers.
Manage the day to day orders and order processing.
Picking and packing the outgoing orders.
Coordinating all shipping procedure for all orders (shipping to countries such as Eastern Europe and Russia).
Creating and researching the correct documentation for each shipment.
Handling all goods in procedures and paperwork.
Managing inventory and stock levels/movement.
Looking for ways to reduce shipping costs.
Creating and updating records on the in-house system.
