ARE YOU A PRACTICE MANAGER WITH CQC EXPERIENCE?

Ellis Mason have the pleasure of recruiting an experience PRACTICE MANAGER for a highly credible and well established Practice based in North Hertfordshire. 

The role of the PRACTICE MANAGER works closely with the Owners and the Doctors to ensure the efficient and effective running of the Practice. 

The company are based in a luxury setting that is kept immaculate for their patients. 

As the PRACTICE MANAGER, you will work closely with the Directors to build business strategies and patient services.  

The company are willing to look at candidates from all healthcare related backgrounds if you have the relevant CQC experience.  

THE SALARY & BENEFITS

  • Permanent, full time basis.
  • Salary open to discussion and dependant on experience

  • 20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays.
  • Monday to Friday based position 9am to 5pm.


THE JOB

The main duties included within the role of the PRACTICE MANAGER, are: 

  • Apply, register and administer inspections with the CQC (Care Quality Commission)
  • Monitoring the effective of patient services and care.
  • Designing and implementing workplace procedures.
  • Liaising with Medical employees to ensure they have required support.
  • Managing department and practice budgets.
  • Oversee Practice operations, such as: appointment scheduling, billing procedures, debt collection, cleaning, and more.
  • Guide the Practice through CQC compliance.
  • Lead a team made up of Admin staff, receptionists, records staff, and all other patient-orientated staff
  • Control and oversee the supply and purchase of medications, supplies and medical equipment
  • Manage patient records and IT system – CRM system competence and GDPR compliance in accordance with CQC requirements
  • Evaluate appointment procedures and patient services
  • Recruit, train, and supervise new administrative employees
  • Work with all staff and doctors to recruit new patients and expand the practice
  • Interact with patients and gain customer feedback about the practice
  • PR with patients to ensure good patient experience on all levels whilst in the clinic
  • Address patient complaints in a compassionate and timely fashion
  • Manage and oversee the production of patient brochures, newsletters, and other correspondence
  • Monitor the practice's progress in meeting government targets and regulatory compliance
