ARE YOU A LEAN SIX SIGMA BLACK BELT LEADER WITH A STRONG DIGITAL/VIRTUAL PROCESS BACKGROUND THAT IS ABLE TO WIN THE HEARTS AND MINDS OF AN ORGANISATION?

Ellis Mason are recruiting for a PROCESS IMPROVEMENT LEADER to join a global software company in London.

This is a key leadership position where you will be working at a global level supporting improvement initiatives. The role is responsible for building and managing a team of greenbelts and engaging a community of yellow belts that are tasked with guiding the business through wide scale process re-engineering primarily using Lean Management methodologies.

This position will require an expert Lean Six Sigma Black Belt leader with a strong process background, that is able to facilitate and drive change in a fast-paced growth focused environment leveraging strong interpersonal skills. Key to success in this position is the ability to work within all levels and functions, creating value and buy-in as the lead change facilitator for the Lean Six Sigma transformation.

THE SALARY & BENEFITS

  • Strictly permanent, full time role
  • Base salary up to £85,000
  • Bonus up to 10%

THE JOB 

The main duties included within the role of PROCESS IMPROVEMENT LEADER are:   

  • Conducting end to end process diagnosis to identify improvement opportunities across the business.
  • Lean Business partner the Senior Management. Providing guidance and support to ensure effective and robust processes that deliver improvements for client projects and services.
  • Project managing the lean six sigma improvement projects using DMAIC and other transformation methodologies.
  • Lead, and guide greenbelts to lead, continuous improvement projects across the Operations utilising a variety of Operational Excellence Principles.
  • Support and mentor Greenbelts and other change champions across the business to ensure activities deliver target benefits on time and on budget.
  • Delivering training to Green Belts and Yellow belts as required – ensuring knowledge transfer.
  • Ensure effective stakeholder management to deliver and maintain effective improvement project sponsorship.
  • Acting as a change agent - build and deliver the change management strategy to ensure support and buy-in for improvement projects.
  • Effectively engage with other Improvement Leaders to ensure the consistency of approach across all improvement initiatives.
  • Support the management team to develop and embed a Lean Management System across the broader business.
  • Lead advanced problem solving efforts and develop the capability within the broader team to do so.
  • Supports the work environment with good morale and a strong work ethic.
  • Line Management of the Greenbelts within European locations.
