Ellis Mason have the pleasure of working with a global construction company on their search for a QUANTITY SURVEYOR | BUILDING. The role is a permanent contract, but initially working on a 3 year project based in Cardiff.

As the QUANTITY SURVEYOR | BUILDING, you will be working on an incredibly impressive £350 million pound project, a project that is very meaningful to the people.

To be considered for the role of QUANTITY SURVEYOR | BUILDING, you will ideally have 4-5 years experience with building based experience.

THE JOB

The main duties included within the role of the QUANTITY SURVEYOR | BUILDING, are:

Working with other QS onsite in the quality project offices
Project budgets
Cost estimation
Risk management
Working to legal and quality standards
Assisting with design changes
Relevant contract administration
Providing reports
Report to the Senior Quantity Surveyor, Commercial Manager/ Project Director and other appropriate stakeholders as required
Additional duties associated with the role as determined by management
