Our client is a highly successful leasing and finance company who have a new office opening in Manchester.  To support their growth, they are looking to recruit a SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE to join their team. This new office is to support sales and account management of their northern territory. 

As well as a highly supportive working environment, they offer training, mentoring and access to the senior leadership team to help you develop your career and grow within the company.

The SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE is a junior sales role that would suit either a Graduate or someone relatively new to the sales industry. It is a great step into sales and can offer promotion to a high earning account management role if successful within this one.

  • 9am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday

  • Creating new sales opportunities for the senior sales person by booking appointments for them in their diary
  • Research potential customers and work out a sales approach/plan
  • Review non-productive customer lists and re-introduce the company's services
  • Encourage customers to increase their orders, that may currently be giving the company a small amount of what is available
  • Creating a sales plan to ensure you know who you are contacting and at what stage they are, ensuring to keep the internal notes all documented
  • Having a 'hunter' style mentality in find and approaching new businesses
  • Assist in any sales or marketing projects/initiatives that the Account Managers may introduce
  • Assist in a sales support function with duties such as: Supplier documents, pricing lists, or changes, quotations, handbooks, etc
  • Create monthly sales reports
  • Learn the business fully including: existing products, new products, industry sectors, area's, and more
