ARE YOU GOOD WITH CUSTOMERS AND CAN TURN INCOMING CUSTOMER ENQUIRIES INTO SALES?

Ellis Mason are assisting a Welwyn Garden City based company in their recruitment of several SALES EXECUTIVES. The role is incoming calls only and so there is no outbound or cold calling. You are speaking to people that are calling in and have a need for the product, as a SALES EXECUTIVE it is your job to give that customer a great service and make them feel comfortable in placing the order through you. 

The company are recruiting due to growth and as a new SALES EXECUTIVE you will receive full job training. 

The commission structure can be explained by the company at interview, however it is uncapped meaning that the more sales you achieve the higher your earnings. The average earnings are £400-£500 a month in commission, with their top earners earning £1500 to £2000 a month extra. 


THE SALARY & BENEFITS

  • Permanent, full time basis.
  • 20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, every year this increases by 1 day until you reach 25 days (+bank holidays)
  • Salary £19,000 basic + commission

THE JOB

The main duties included within the role of the SALES EXECUTIVE, are: 

  • Taking inbound calls from customers who are interested in getting a quote or finding out more information on our services. 
  • Giving customers a friendly and knowledgeable service, ensuring that the customer is well informed on the service that they are enquiring about.
  • Providing accurate and competitive quotes. 
  • Using your own product knowledge to give the customer the relevant information and answers that they require. 
  • When appropriate, up-selling/cross-selling other services that could also be relevant to the customer.
  • Processing sales orders. 
  • Providing customers with lead times for delivery. 
  • Building long term relationships to encourage repeat business orders. 
  • Accurately recording customer conversations on the in-house database. 
  • Calling customers that you have previously spoken to but that didn't progress to see if they are still interested in the service.
