ARE YOU AN EXPERIENCED TRAVEL COORDINATOR? DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE IN LINE MANAGEMENT?

Ellis Mason have the pleasure of recruiting a SENIOR TRAVEL COORDINATOR for a highly credible business based in Stevenage. The role requires someone who is experienced within the travel industry or experienced in booking travel and also has experience in managing a small team. 

This is a fixed term contract for 12-18 months dependant on how soon you can start. 

As the SENIOR TRAVEL COORDINATOR you will work line manage a small team who are responsible for booking worldwide, intricate travel arrangements. This role may suit you if you have worked for a premium travel agency or it could suit you if you come from a PA type background and have been responsible for volumes of corporate travel. 

THE SALARY & BENEFITS

  • 12-18 months contract, full time basis.
  • Annual bonus scheme (may or may not be relevant dependant on agreed length of contract).
  • 20 days holiday initially which increases to 25 with service (may not be relevant if the contract ceases), plus 8 bank holidays.
  • Salary £dependant on experience
  • Life assurance after completion of 6 month probation.

  • Walkable from train station.
  • 9am-5pm working hours - Monday to Friday (at certain times there is a need to monitor an out of hours mobile in case needed but this is compensated for financially, separately to your salary).

THE JOB

The main duties included within the role of the SENIOR TRAVEL COORDINATOR, are: 

  • Line management of the travel management team (2 people).
  • Ensuring that all business travel is booked as requested. 
  • Coordinating any personal travel requirements that may be requested by the business owners. 
  • Creating detailed and accurate itineraries for each person that is travelling. 
  • Management of the leadership teams diaries, ensuring it is kept up to date at all times. 
  • Working closely with the events team to ensure be of assistance where possible. 
  • Booking flights, accommodation, transfers and restaurants. 
  • Preparing travel folders that include itineraries, flight details and accommodation information.
  • Arranging travel insurance for all trips taken. 
  • Completing weekly itineraries that reflect the diary movements. 
  • Attending regular team meetings with other internal teams.
