Ellis Mason are recruiting for a DELIVERY MANAGER to join a global software company specialising in the health industry.

The purpose of the role is the on-time delivery of all project technical services for the Global Technical Delivery teams. You will be leading two scalable teams that flex as the needs require.

As the DELIVERY MANAGER, you must be able to work well under pressure, juggle priorities and eliminate road blocks whilst looking after multiple projects at any given time. Experience within coaching and mentoring teams is highly desirable.

To be eligible for this role, you must be able to demonstrate significant service delivery experience at a high level and to the highest standard, guaranteeing project expectations are met.

This role can be performed remotely however if desired to return back to the office environment, the companies offices are based in London and will be reopening soon.

THE JOB

  • Responsible for on-time delivery of all project technical delivery commitments, specifically large-scale resource scheduling, complex task dependency planning, forecasting, and risk mitigation.
  • Broad expertise in various SDLC areas (Solution, Engineering, Testing, Delivery) with the ability to enforce industry and regulatory best practices and Company standards use within their teams.
  • Experienced in leading geographically dispersed organisations that deliver assigned client projects and internal commitments.
  • Chairs regular delivery team planning exercises, with keen focus on release coordination, task dependencies, and critical path alignment and sustainment.
  • Chairs regular team delivery “scrum-of-scrums” and acts as decision maker and escalation point-of-contact in resolving implementation impediments.
  • Achieves sustained delivery “health” and quality levels measured using standard operating metrics and enforcing delivery process hygiene and adherence.
  • Applies required resource management solutions that allow technical team to balance its workload and priorities in response to changing expectations.
  • Ensures seamless project handoffs through tight partnership with the Global Project Management organisation.
  • Drives the implementation of best practices, with emphasis on agility, to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Works to standardise the project delivery rigor for assigned sponsor/s and/or specialisation area
