Ellis Mason have the pleasure of recruiting for an SUPPLY CHAIN ADMINISTRATOR to work for a growing automotive business based in Hatfield. 

The role of the SUPPLY CHAIN ADMINISTRATOR will work closely with the Parts General Manager and Materials Controller to assist in the inbound and outbound activity of parts within this automotive business. 

In order to be considered for the role you must be computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Excel. 

THE SALARY & BENEFITS

  • Permanent, full time basis. 
  • £22,000 - £25,000 per annum dependant on experience
  • 23 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays.
  • Free on-site parking.
  • 10 minute walk from the train station. 
  • Contributory pension.
  • Monday to Friday based position 9am to 5pm.
  • Training & support given. 

 

THE JOB

The main duties included within the role of the SUPPLY CHAIN ADMINISTRATOR are: 

  • Supporting in the administration of purchasing & expediting urgent requirements from suppliers. 
  • Administering receipts of dispatched supplier goods. 
  • Monitoring prices between supplier parts pricing and their invoice to ensure accurate invoices.
  • Supporting the authorisation of payments. 
  • Managing delivery discrepancies and communicating with suppliers. 
  • Handling supplier issues such as part quality issues and technical enquiries. 
  • Inputting new part data onto the in-house system. 
  • Adapting part details such as pricing on the system.
  • Supporting the annual price review process.
  • Producing sales reports.
  • Analysing sale s trends and highlighting any anomalies.
  • Greet visitors and answering incoming customer phone calls.
