Ellis Mason are recruiting for a TECHNICAL CUSTOMER SUPPORT TECHNICIAN to join a very trendy and highly successful automotive company.  

You will need to be competent in diagnosing and solving customer issues via an online portal, e-mail and telephone.  

The office based in North Herts is the European Sales Office which is headed up by an inspiring and motivational Director.


  • Permanent, full time role
  • Monday – Friday 08.30am – 5pm
  • Salary band between £23,000 > £27,000 dependent upon experience (£27k would be top end with actual market experience i.e. tuning)
  • Up to 10% bonus based on: 5% company performance, 3% personal performance (against KPI’s), 2% training
  • Pension contribution of 5%
  • Health Care and Life Insurance packages commence post probation (3mths)
  • 20 days holiday + 8 days public holiday – discretionary additional 2 x days awarded at Christmas
  • Parking on-site


The main duties included within the role of TECHNICAL CUSTOMER SUPPORT TECHNICIAN , are: 

  • Independently diagnose and resolve simple software problems.
  • Answering questions that customers have requested support on.
  • Providing full technical product support to customers based in Europe.
  • First point of contact for all European customers.
  • Liaising with engineering in the UK and the USA when necessary to escalate and resolve any issues.
  • Communicating regularly with the European Technical Sales Engineers in order to provide customer feedback/issues. Ensuring to discuss both challenges and potential opportunities.
  • Coordinating all necessary documentation in line with engineering protocol.
  • Identify and assist with documentation relevant to European regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and document any local support and engineering development requirements


Full training will be provided on commencement of employment.

You must have the ability to travel to USA, a minimum of once a year for the annual Company meeting.
