ARE YOU EXPERIENCED AT MANAGING PARTS AND ADMINISTRATION WITHIN A WAREHOUSE ENVIRONMENT?

Ellis Mason are recruiting for a WAREHOUSE STOCK COORDINATOR to join a highly successful business based in Stevenage.

You will need to be IT Literate and comfortable using Microsoft packages and learning a new in-house system as on daily basis you will be working on a PC.

Although you will have interactions regularly with people throughout your day, this is a standalone role and so would suit someone who is comfortable working on their own and managing their own workload.

This is a stores-based position where your responsibilities lie in the warehouse functions.

The WAREHOUSE STOCK COORDINATOR role would suit someone who is experienced in working in a small company warehouse/stores and has experienced in coordinating the movements of incoming and outgoing stock. Someone who has experience in organising and keeping clean a stores area and someone who is used to working on a computer within a warehouse environment.

The WAREHOUSE STOCK COORDINATOR is a new role for the company as they are busy and expanding. The new person coming in will need to (slowly, over time) stock take and re-organise the warehouse and put in place new systems and procedures.


THE SALARY & BENEFITS

  • Permanent, full time role
  • Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm
  • Salary £24,000 to £28,000 per annum – dependent on level of experience
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Statutory pension
  • Walking distance from Stevenage train station


THE JOB

The main duties included within the role of WAREHOUSE STOCK COORDINATOR, are: 

  • Unpacking incoming deliveries and putting them away tidily in the warehouse.
  • Matching coordinating stock items on the company’s internal systems.
  • Marking up items and correctly labeling them ready to be dispatched to relevant engineers - this is a fairly detailed process if not done correctly the whole process fails and engineers do not get their parts the right day/ location.
  • Management of deliveries/fleet
  • Stock management for the engineer’s parts.
  • Coordinating the incoming and outgoing movements of large project equipment.
  • Over time, stock taking the existing stock and re-organising the whole stores area.
  • Keep warehouse tidy and clean, sweeping the floors, etc.
  • Taking responsibility for the whole stores area and ensuring that left parts/paperwork is picked up and handled.
  • Site caretaking.
  • Responsibility for looking after the staff uniform and handling all PPE inductions.
